A Mackay boy accused of stealing two cars in Townsville has been charged.
It’s alleged that around 8.30pm on December 12, a Mitsubishi Pajero was stolen from a home on Wattlebird Avenue in Kelso.
Police will further allege that on December 17, a Volkswagen Golf was stolen from Tingalpa Way in Bohle Plains.
On December 17, police attended Stuart Drive in Wulguru and located the stolen Mitsubishi Pajero.
Police found the boy after he fled from the stolen car and he was subsequently arrested.
The 14-year-old South Mackay boy was charged with two counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
He will be appearing in the Townsville Children’s court later this month.
