Police are investigating after a man fell from a balcony and sustained critical injuries in Townville City this morning.
Emergency services were called to the old cinema on Blackwood and Sturt Streets just after 12.30am.
A 39-year-old Kelso man was transported in a critical condition to Townsville University Hospital with stab wounds.

Two people are in custody and assisting police with investigations.
