Minor Flood Warning For Burdekin River

UPDATE |  A Minor Flood Warning remains in place for the lower Burdekin River.

Minor flood levels continue to ease along the lower Burdekin River downstream
of Burdekin Falls Dam and are expected to ease below the minor flood level by
Tuesday night.

No significant rainfall is expected across the catchment area over the next few
days.

Burdekin River to Burdekin Falls Dam:
River levels continue to ease slowly along the upper Burdekin River to Burdekin
Falls Dam.

The Burdekin River at Burdekin Dam is currently at 3.07 metres and falling.
Levels are expected to fall below the minor flood level (3.00 m) during Tuesday
morning.

Burdekin River downstream of Burdekin Falls Dam:
Minor flood levels continue easing downstream of Burdekin Falls Dam.

The Burdekin River at Dalbeg is currently at a minor flood level of 10.64
metres and falling. River levels are expected to fall below the minor flood
level (10.00 m) around midday Tuesday.

The Burdekin River at Clare is currently at at a minor flood level of 9.70
metres and falling. River levels are expected to fall below the minor flood
level (8.00 m) overnight Tuesday.

The Burdekin River at Inkerman Bridge is currently at a minor flood level of
7.80 metres and falling. River levels are expected to fall below the minor
flood level (7.00 m) overnight Tuesday.

Flood Safety Advice:
Remember: If it's flooded, forget it. For flood emergency assistance contact
the SES on 132 500. For life threatening emergencies, call Triple Zero (000)
immediately.

Minor flood levels continue to ease along the lower Burdekin River downstream
of Burdekin Falls Dam and are expected to ease below the minor flood level by
Tuesday night.

No significant rainfall is expected across the catchment area over the next few
days.

Burdekin River to Burdekin Falls Dam:
River levels continue to slowly ease along the upper Burdekin River to Burdekin
Falls Dam.

The Burdekin River at Burdekin Falls Dam is currently at 4.07 metres and
falling. Levels are expected to fall below the minor flood level (3.00 m)
overnight Monday into Tuesday.

Burdekin River downstream of Burdekin Falls Dam:
Minor flood levels are easing downstream of Burdekin Falls Dam.

The Burdekin River at Dalbeg is currently at 13.29 metres (minor flood) and
falling. River levels are expected to fall below the minor flood level (10.00
m) during Tuesday morning.

The Burdekin River at Clare is currently at 11.80 metres (minor flood) and
falling. River levels are expected to fall below the minor flood level (8.00 m)
during Tuesday evening.

The Burdekin River at Inkerman Bridge is currently at 9.30 metres (minor flood)
and falling. River levels are expected to fall below the minor flood level
(7.00 m) Tuesday night.
