Latest Flood Warning For Ross River

UPDATE | A Minor Flood Warning is current for the Ross River.

Minor flood levels will continue to ease very slowly on the Ross River at Aplin
Weir for the remainder of Tuesday.

No rainfall was recorded in the 24 hours to 9:00am Tuesday and no significant
rainfall is expected over the next few days.

Ross River:
The river level at Ross River Dam is approximately 0.5 m over the spillway and
easing. Downstream, river levels on the Ross River are continuing to fall.

The Ross River at Aplin Weir is currently at 1.06 metres and steady, 0.06 m
above the minor flood level (1.00 m). Based on the current rate of fall, the
river level is likely to fall below the minor flood level late Tuesday morning
or afternoon.

Flood Safety Advice:
Remember: If it's flooded, forget it. For flood emergency assistance contact
the SES on 132 500. For life threatening emergencies, call Triple Zero (000)
immediately.

No rainfall has been recorded since 9:00am Sunday and no significant rainfall
is expected over the next few days.

Ross River:
The river level at Ross River Dam is approximately 0.9 m over the spillway and
easing. Downstream, river levels on the Ross River are continuing to fall.

The Ross River at Aplin Weir is currently at 1.21 metres and steady, 0.21 m
above the minor flood level (1.00 m). Based on the rate of fall over the
weekend, the river level is likely to fall below the minor flood level during
Tuesday morning or afternoon.
