Four teens charged after car stolen from Kelso home
Four teenagers have been arrested after a house was broken into and a car stolen from Kelso.
Police will allege the offenders forced entry to a home on Kulgun Crescent at around 2.10am Monday, before stealing the keys to a Ford SUV.
The car was later spotted at a petrol station on Ingham Road around 2.30 that afternoon
Officers drove to the front of the stolen vehicle to prevent it from leaving, and the driver allegedly reversed into a timber, paling fence.
The four occupants of the vehicle were taken into custody without further issue.
A 15-year-old boy, a 14-year-old girl and two girls aged 17 have all been charged with unlawful used of a motorvehicle and will face Townsville Children’s Court.
