A pedestrian is in a critical condition after being struck by a vehicle in Garbutt overnight.
Emergency crews were called to the intersection of Lockheed and Meenan Streets just after 8.30pm Monday, responding to reports of a person hit by a car. Paramedics treated the patient at the scene before rushing them to Townsville University Hospital with a severe head injury.
They remains in a life‑threatening condition.
