A man has been charged over drugs and weapon offences in Townsville.
Police intercepted the man at 6am yesterday for riding a scooter without a helmet on Ross River Road at Mundingburra.
It is alleged officers found cannabis, a glass pipe, and a knife inside the man’s backpack.

He has been charged with possess dangerous drugs, possess utensil, unlawful possession of a knife and failure to wear a helmet.
The man is set to appear in the Townsville Magistrates Court on March 2.
