The Townsville Forensic Crash Unit is investigating what caused an e-scooter crash that left a man fighting for his life
Around 4.20am, police say a 34-year-old man was riding an e-scooter when he lost control and crashed. Emergency services found him unresponsive on Dalrymple Road with a life-threatening head injury before transporting him to Townsville University Hospital.
Police are urging anyone with information or relevant vision to come forward.

It’s the second e-scooter crash in less than 24 hours, after another woman in her 30s was also treated by paramedics after a car collided with an e-scooter on Angus Smith Drive in Douglas just after 6pm last night.
