Five people have been hospitalised after they were exposed to chemical fumes at a Burdekin sugar mill.
It happened around 10.50am yesterday at Wilmar Sugar Australia’s Inkerman Mill in Home Hill
Paramedics have taken the five people suffering respiratory-related issues to Ayr Hospital in stable conditions.

One patient was also treated for chemical burns.
