Investigations are underway following a car and motorbike crash which killed a 36-year-old man north-west of Ayr.
Police say a motorbike collided with a light-truck on the Bruce Highway in Barratta at around 8:20 last night (April 28).
The rider of the motorbike was declared dead at the scene, with the driver of the truck uninjured.

The 48-year-old man is assisting police with their investigations.
Anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage of the incident is being asked to contact police.
