Murder charges have been laid after a police operation at Gordonvale on Sunday.
Police say they responded to reports Sunday morning at a Pritchard Close address of an armed man causing a disturbance.
A 29 year old man was arrested – with the body of a 29 year old woman found inside the home.

Police confirmed on Monday morning that the man has been charged with murder (domestic violence offence).
The 29 year old Gordonvale man is expected to front court this morning.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing and anyone with information is urged to contact police.
