Nine people have been charged with multiple property offences in the last week.
They range in ages from 44 years old to just 13 – and face a variety of charges including stealing and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
Acting Inspector Phil Watts says police have been working around the clock to prevent and look in to property offences.

“This includes relentless pursuing of serious repeat offenders who are putting innocent people at risk,” Acting Inspector Watts said.
“We are focused on holding property crime offenders to account.”
They will face court in Townsville in the coming weeks.
