Just a few days away from the start of the NRLW season, the ladies of the North Queensland Cowboys are preparing to kick off for 2025 in a home game against the Titans on Saturday night.
New signing and premiership player Abigail Roache will start in center after joining the club and moving after winning the women’s grand final with the Newcastle Knights.
Cowboys coach Ricky Henry says she’ll be a great addition and despite a tough pre-season he’s keen to see how the girls go.
Four debutants will also make their mark on Saturday with the Cowboys set to feature a new lineup, including Former Wests Tigers prop Najvada George and Jillaroos standout Jakiya Whitfeld shifting to fullback.
The game against the Titans kicks off on Saturday at 5.15 pm at Country Bank Stadium.
