Police are calling on the public to help locate a 13‑year‑old girl who has been missing from Aitkenvale since December 2.
The girl was last seen on Belinda Street but was only reported missing to police on December 9. Authorities say they hold serious concerns for her welfare due to her young age.
She is described as First Nations, approximately 160cm tall, with a slim build, dark brown hair and brown eyes.

Police are urging anyone who may have seen her, or who has information about her whereabouts, to come forward immediately. They are also appealing directly to the girl to make contact with family or authorities to confirm she is safe.
