A stolen vehicle has been brought to a standstill by police in Townsville.
The Ford Everest was allegedly taken from a Springbank Parade address around 1.30am on Monday, December 19.
Police say tyre spikes were successfully used on the vehicle on the Bruce Highway at Alligator Creek just after 1pm that afternoon.
The vehicle eventually came to a stop, later located at the corner of Newton and Robbins Street, Wulguru.
Police cordoned off the area and arrested six teenage boys, aged between 13 and 16.
They are all set to appear in Townsville Children’s Court at a later date on various charges including unlawful use of a motor vehicle and attempted enter dwelling with intent.
