Three pedestrians hit by vehicles on local roads

Three people have been hit by cars in separate incidents around the Townsville region.

A woman in her 20s was struck by a vehicle in Townsville City along Sir Leslie Thiess Drive at 9.35pm on Thursday.

Earlier in the night, a man was hit by a car on Clump Point Road on Palm Island around 8.30pm.

Meanwhile, there was another vehicle and pedestrian incident that happened at Heatley around 10.20am on Thursday.

All three people have been taken to hospital in stable conditions.
