Two men have been charged after a join raid by detectives in Rockhampton and Mackay, as well as the Gold Coast.
A number of properties were raided by police on Wednesday, including a car in Rocky and a property at the Leap.
Police say they found 9.5 kilos of methamphetamine , 160 grams of cocaine and more than 175 thousand dollars in cash.
Officers also seized three vehicles, a Toyota Landcruiser, Toyota Prado and a Ford Ranger.
A 40 year old man was arrested in Rockhampton, and a 46 year old was arrested in Mackay, both faced court last week.
The 40-year-old man was charged with two counts each of possessing dangerous drugs exceeding Schedule 4 (methylamphetamine and cocaine) and possessing anything used in commission of a crime and one count each of trafficking in dangerous drugs, possessing property obtained from trafficking or supplying, possessing dangerous drugs and supplying dangerous drugs.
The 46-year-old man was charged with one count each of possessing dangerous drugs exceeding Schedule 4 (methylamphetamine), possessing dangerous drugs exceeding Schedule 3 (cocaine), possessing of property suspected of being proceeds of an offence, possess property suspected of having been used in connection with the commission of an offence, and contravening order about information necessary to access information stored electronically, as well as two counts of possessing medicines
Detective Inspector Craig Bowman of the Organised Crime Gangs Group said police were working together to target these networks and hold those involved responsible.
“Police are working collaboratively across regions and with specialist and frontline officers to dismantle organised crime networks,” Det Insp Bowman said.
“This investigation demonstrates our continued focus on targeting all aspects of illicit enterprises, disrupting their activities, and ensuring those responsible are brought to justice to keep our communities safe,” he said.
