A 21‑year‑old Wulguru man has been charged after a violent domestic incident that left two people with knife wounds last night.
Police were called to Condamine Street around 8pm on Wednesday, where a 35‑year‑old man and 28‑year‑old woman were both found injured after an alleged altercation inside the home. The woman was taken to hospital for treatment, and detectives say all three people involved were known to each other.
The accused is now facing Unlawful Wounding (Domestic Violence offence) and Assault Occasioning Bodily Harm whilst Armed, and is due to appear in Townsville Magistrates Court today, October 8.
