Last year Wicked made its way off the stage and into the cinemas for musical-movie adaptation of the mega-hit broadway show. The movie however was only the first part of the broadway show and a part two was announced shortly after. The trailer for the second part of the Wizard of Oz spinoff has just dropped. The sequel arrives later this year on November 21st with both Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande returning to conclude the story. The sequel will show Elphaba’s rise and fall as the Wicked Witch of the West. Even showcasing the team from the original film in the trailer with a quick peek at Tin Man, The Cowardly Lion, The Scarecrow and even Dorothy herself.
