On Wednesday, 31 December, the city will come alive with events happening across three locations, offering something for everyone – from family-friendly fun to live music and midnight fireworks.

Riverway Stadium will host an early movie screening, followed by family-friendly fireworks lighting up the sky at 8pm.

At Strand Park, Sounds on the Sand will bring the party atmosphere with live music from The Potbelleez, plus fireworks displays at both 8pm and midnight.

For those celebrating on Magnetic Island, Nelly Bay will deliver a spectacular midnight fireworks display, perfect for welcoming the New Year island-style.
