A stabbing on Palm Island has left a man in a critical condition.
Around 2.40pm Sunday, police were called to a medical facility on Palm Island following reports that a man had presented with a stab wound.

The 27-year-old has been airlifted to Townsville Hospital where he has undergone surgery for a single knife wound.
He remains in a critical but stable condition.
Police are investigating the circumstances leading up to the incident, and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
