Police are appealing for information after a stolen grey Toyota Rav4 crashed at Idalia early this morning, 2 July.
Investigators say the vehicle was travelling along Lakeside Drive at about 2.50am when it lost control and crashed, with the occupants fleeing before officers arrived.
No one was injured, but police believe the Rav4 had been stolen from an underground carpark at The Strand in North Ward sometime between 10.30pm on 1 July and 2.50am today.

Officers are asking anyone who may have seen the Rav4, or who has CCTV or dashcam footage from between 10pm and 3am, to come forward. Even small pieces of vision could help track the vehicle’s movements before the crash and assist investigators in identifying those involved.
