Police are urgently appealing for public assistance as the search continues for a mother and her newborn baby missing from Douglas since Sunday.
Twenty‑two‑year‑old Summa Clarke was last seen leaving a hospital on Angus Smith Road around 12.45pm on Sunday, 7 June, with her infant son. Officers say they hold serious concerns for the baby’s wellbeing due to his age and vulnerability.
Summa has not made contact with family or authorities since she was last seen, and investigators are police are urging anyone who may have seen Summa, or who has information about her current whereabouts, to come forward immediately.
Even small details — such as CCTV, dashcam footage, or sightings in the Douglas, Annandale, or surrounding Townsville suburbs — could be crucial.
